The Trade information Service Trial beta aimed to combine trade information from multiple sources, allowing for a faster, easier platform for Australian businesses to access trade and export information and data.

We were engaged to assist with the user experience and user interface of the Trade Information Service (TIS). Working within an MDT, we worked closely with partners such as The Australian Department of Agriculture, Water and the Environment (DAWE) and other industry-based organisations. The digital service aims to save exporters time and effort searching for export regulations across multiple sites, enabling exporters to quickly access tariff rates, import country requirements and commercial insights across various market/industry pairings.

We worked closely with analysts and data specialists to ensure the product classifications 'Harmonised System (HS)' and 'Australian Harmonized Export Commodity Classification (AHECC)' codes were mapped allowing for ease of use for the end user. Through the Agile delivery framework, we tested with a wide group of users within the export industry from independent growers to large scale distributors.
